Now it is clear that lock-down is set for another few weeks, we now have set plans for how Oakwood homes can continue to operate to provide the very best service in these very difficult times. We understand of course that everyone is affected in different ways, so we will offer all we can do to help you in your specific circumstances.

Valuations
We have quickly developed an online
Social Distancing Valuation Tool, so we can continue to offer expert advice for every homeowner whether selling or letting individually. It will mean a little more help from you as the owner, but promise it is well worth all the effort! An 8 page detailed report analysing the local market, recent trends, numbers of transactions and much more, allows us to present an accurate price range for your home – rather than a simple ‘online valuation process’ that you will often see with many websites. This is a bespoke report for you personally.
Viewings
Viewings CAN still take place albeit, remotely. Many properties that we have for sale and to let, offer a video tour for your convenience. We can also arrange for an online video call three way with participating owners to conduct a ‘live tour’. If this is something of interest, please do get in touch.
Inspections
If you are a tenant and a scheduled inspection is due, this WILL NOT be carried out in the interested of both our staff and tenants. Appointments will be rearranged after lock-down. Thank you for your understanding with this.
Move ins
Any scheduled move ins WILL still take place. However, we will not physically attend any property for this purpose. Clients will be asked to sign all documentation remotely and raise any issues in writing within the first 7 days of tenancy.
Emergency Repairs
Naturally only emergencies can be resolved. Please contact our
Property Management Team detailing your problem and a suitably qualified trade will attend. It may be that you will be asked to remain in another room during the repair and social distancing will need to be observed at all times.
Sales Progression
If you have a sale proceeding, we are still actively working for you to progress this. Naturally, we are restricted by who is working, as some agents and solicitors appear not to be, but everything that can be done is. Your dedicated Sales Progressor is still available on the numbers and emails as previous, just working remotely.
