Coronavirus Announcement

With the recent spread of Coronavirus and new measurements put in place by the government, we wanted to let everyone know what we’re doing for our local community and our customers.

With the recent spread of Coronavirus and new measurements put in place by the government, we wanted to let everyone know what we’re doing for our local community and our customers.

First of all, we’d like to say we’re still here, we’re still open, and we’re still helping our customers to the best of our ability. We will never leave any of our sellers, buyers, landlords or tenants in the lurch, and will continue to come up with new strategies to help. Please contact us with any questions or concerns you may have so we can put your mind at rest.

One of those new strategies we’re implementing is Online Facebook Live Viewings.

How this works:

One of our agents will attend the property and go “live” on our Facebook. They will talk through the details and show you around virtually in the same way as if you were actually there. You will be able to ask questions via the comments or a direct message. Anyone can join the live viewing or watch it later on the Facebook newsfeed. We will let you know ahead of time when a live viewing is taking place. If you’re unsure and need directions on how to watch, we can give you that too!

This may help if you are:
·     Self isolating
·     Have underlying health conditions
·     Are pregnant
·     Are over 70
·     Have someone vulnerable in the home
·     Just want to be careful

Not only will this new plan protect viewers, but also sellers and landlords from having multiple people in their property.

For our community:

In light of the new self-isolation guidelines, we also wanted to help our community where we can to get through this trying time. We are currently doing a drop of these leaflets across all our areas:

Our team will be available to do any shopping, errands, or just be available for a chat.

Lastly – the best way to contact us

We ARE still contactable on our normal hours, and if you need to chat about your property transactions, live viewings or anything else, drop us an email – you can find the email for your local branch HERE – or use the helpful chat feature on our website. Please try to use these avenues where possible rather than calling us, as with the advisement from the government that employees work from home where possible, it may take us longer to answer the phone.

Remember, we’re all in this together. These are trying times, but we will get through if we offer support and help to each other throughout the community. Thanet has some of the best community spirit I’ve ever seen, so we can do this!

From all of us at Oakwood Homes.

As autumn rolls in and festive celebrations light up the night sky, the firework season can be a time of excitement and awe. However, for our beloved pets, this period can be quite distressing.

As the leaves change colour and the crisp air settles in, autumn presents a wonderful opportunity to revamp your life and get organised, especially if you're thinking of moving home.

The gentle crackle of wood, the warm glow of flames, and the snug feeling that envelops a room – there’s something uniquely captivating about a fireplace. For many potential homebuyers, a fireplace isn’t just an architectural feature; it’s the heart of the home.
