Help where it is needed
We never know what life is going to throw at us and some of us get it tough. Sometimes too it's close to home - one of our staff's good friends John Rawlins was recently diagnosed with MND (Motor Neurone Disease) which has brought about some life changing challenges and issues as you can imagine.
Last weekend a group of 20+ cyclists took to the streets to tackle a 40 mile sponsored bike ride to raise funds to help John with his urgent need for practical help around the home including a wet room and mobility scooter, plus adaptations around the home.
Our MD Andrew Dickinson took to the saddle and completed the bike ride (ahead of the rain!) assisted by 4 Pub stops en-route..! A big congratulations to all the riders who are attempting to raise £5,000 between them and other sponsorship initiatives. You can see more about John's MND Journey and the opportunity to support HERE:
So, a week on and apparently most of the riders suffering, has finished - apart from a few sore butts...!
