Improved precautions for lockdown number 3! Find out what’s changed…

Hopefully it’s third time lucky, and we’re heading into our last lockdown. During this time, we’re open, and our team are ready to help you reach your goals with valuations, viewings and advice – but we still have in place extra #CovidSecure precautions to ensure our team, customers and community remain safe…

As we prepare ourselves to enter lockdown number 3, we realise many people in our community are concerned about how to stay safe amid very high numbers, yet still want to reach the goals they set for themselves for 2021 in regard to moving home or investing in property.

·     Firstly, we’re happy to confirm the property market remains OPEN throughout lockdown and our team are still on hand to offer you advice and get you through this time.
·     Anyone visiting our branches will now need to give their details for track and trace and will be required to undertake a temperature check.
·     Government guidelines require us to virtually show homes before a physical viewing is allowed to take place. We’ve made this possible over the last year with our streaming tool – LIVESTREAM and our YouTube channel. See more information about livestream in this blog>> CLICK HERE.
·     You will need to fill in a health screen questionnaire online before you can book your physical viewing.
·     Our staff will have a tighter control over any interactions, always doing their due diligence.
·     We need to stay socially distant to keep us all safe and this is something our team is taking seriously. Social distancing will be place on all valuations and viewings.
·     Symptom checking is in place for all our team to reduce the risk of any kind of transmission.
·     All visits by us or tradespeople will take place by appointment only so you can be prepared – we’re not just going to show up at your door!
·     All keys are thoroughly cleaned before we hand them over.
·     There will be no contact or touching of surfaces on our visits – by ourselves or by viewers.
·     Many of our staff are working remotely so please be patient with us while we make every attempt to give you the highest standard of service.

If you’re a seller or a landlord, you can be assured we will keep our usual high standards when marketing your property or searching for a buyer/tenant. Valuations can take place safely by appointment only. Maintenance to tenanted properties can still take place, as long as social distancing is in place. We’re going the extra mile to keep your property safe and looked after.

For tenants and buyers, our above precautions means you don’t need to worry about attending a viewing – all our staff wear PPE to keep you protected and social distancing will be used. Remember, you will have to virtually view the property first and go through all required checks.
