Oakwood homes are delighted to be supporting local worthy charities through our membership at Thanet Business Network.
At Thanet Business Network (TBN) we work hard together to make our businesses work better.
But we also make sure that we give something back to those who most need it....

Last year, TBN agreed to make a donation of £1000 to Demelza Hospice Care for Children to buy some much needed equipment for their children. The £1000 which came from our 35 business members was made up of:

6 x Oxygen flowmeters

1 x Portable saturation monitor

1 x Ophthalmoscope

1 x Blood pressure machine
On 2nd March 2016, Michael Collier from Levicks Accountants, Gareth Johns from Business Computer Solutions and Mags Vickers from Aloe2Bee went to Demelza Kent in Sittingbourne to meet with Leila Ilkhan and present the equipment. (pictured)
We are delighted to be supporting such an amazing organisation, helping those that need it and the families.
About Demelza Hospice Care for Children
Demelza have been providing care to babies, children and young people who have life-threatening or life-limiting conditions and their families since 1998. They have three bases in Sittingbourne, South East London and Lewes, East Sussex.

Established in 2002, TBN is an independent networking group made up of Thanet companies that primarily conduct business in Thanet and East Kent.
We meet every Wednesday at Quex Barn, Birchington for a full English breakfast (vegetarian option available) to network with members and guests. Our weekly network meetings are structured but friendly. Where guests can introduce themselves and make new connections with a wide range of local companies.
