Today, Estate Agent Today released an article detailing how if agents want to keep themselves and their customers safe, physical viewings should be a ‘last resort’ for your home moving plans. We agree with this statement, bringing Livestream viewings into regular use since the first lockdown to help tenants and buyers find their perfect home. We are, in fact, the ONLY local agent to be using live viewings in this way to perfect the process of online property searching.
While virtual tours can be helpful, and photographs paint a picture, they can’t replace a real viewing the same way that ‘live viewings’ can. Not only does Livestream allow you to see what its really like to walk through the home, but because it’s live online, you can ask questions to the agent and request to see more of certain rooms/features in the property.
In fact, since the first lockdown, Livestream has massively reduced the number of physical viewings taking place through our agency, reducing footfall through the properties available for sale/rent by 50%, and yet we’re pleased to say Oakwood Homes have still achieved the same amount of successful completions and lets for our customers.
