The incredible success of new development ‘St Nicholas Park’

Find out how Oakwood took on the beautiful development of new build homes at St Nicholas Park, and successfully matched perfect buyers to completely sell out within months…

At Oakwood Homes, we’re passionate about what we do, and we’ve developed a sophisticated system over the years for finding the most well-matched buyers for each of our sellers. Despite our success with all different types of homes, we especially have loved taking on local new developments, adding to our ‘SOLD’ list high-specification family homes and apartments in well-loved spots of Thanet.

Our specialised team of ‘Land & New Homes’ takes each development that partners with us to find buyers and spreads the message far and wide of the fantastic benefits available with delightful marketing materials showing off all the beautiful advantages the homes have to offer, as well as detailing what government schemes might help the buyers achieve their purchase.

The team put together brochures, videos, photos, online enquiry forms, targeted advertising and blog posts, utilising Oakwood’s expansive existing database of potential new home buyers, our YouTube channel (which receives up to 4000 views a week!), and our social media channels.

We launched the development on the 7th of April 2021. Within three days of going to market, we already had the first home reserved off plan, with a rising interest in the others, and we weren’t stopping there!

The first home officially SOLD on 22nd April 2021. We received 33 serious enquiries before all six homes were sold, with many interested buyers missing out. These buyers have entered our database to hear about new developments coming up, and we’re sure we can soon match their dream homes for them.

Those successful buyers were then guided by us as we offer a full service from the first enquiry through to completion, with help from our recommended mortgage advisors and other partners.

As we see more new developments pop up around Thanet, some utilising empty space and some turning old buildings into beautiful new homes while retaining the original character, we want to give all our database a chance to find their dream home in the area.

We’ll be sharing more successes from our other new home sales in the coming months. If you have a development of new homes or apartments in and around the Thanet area, please give our Land & New Homes team a call on 01843 228844, and they can chat with you about the best way to find your perfect buyers. You can also email them on lnh@oakwoodhomes.biz or simply pop into our Margate branch.

With just a little bit of smart thinking, some local knowledge, and creative marketing, every home can go to the perfect buyer, ready to make their own memories and magical life changing moments there.
