We live where you live! Meet the team: Craig

Craig is our Area sales Manager for the Land & New Homes Team. We asked him a few questions to get to know him better…

What’s your role at Oakwood Homes? Area sales Manager – Land & New Homes Team

How long have you been working here? Just over 7 years – no itch!

What’s your favourite band? The Jam – Never got to see them but booked to see Paul Weller next year.

Do you have any hobbies? Performing on stage in plays and musicals, although I’ve not had much time to that in the last 14 months. Recently taken up road biking and rock climbing is a pastime I would like to get back to.

What do you love best about your local area? The beaches, even in the winter.

Favourite cocktail and/or local bar/pub to enjoy it in? Quite partial to a G&T with ice and lime and enjoy anywhere in Thanet with a sea view!

What does a day in your life look like working for Oakwood Homes? Currently, I mainly work from home, the job requires a lot of admin, paperwork, and research. I may visit development sites with buyers or those looking for a new home, along with regular contact with developers. It’s full on but I love it! Shh – Don’t tell my boss!

Favourite type of home? (period/new build/apartment/cottage). It’s got to be new homes; never use to be, always loved period but I live in a recently built home and it’s such easy living and the decent developers understand the need to install character and practicality into their builds.

Favourite place to holiday? I love a bit of Tenerife but my go-to place will always be San Francisco; family live there and it is such a hip city with beautiful countryside and beaches not too far away. And of course, Napa valley wine country is only a short trek away.
