Learn a little bit more about the people behind all our work... 🙋‍♀‍🙋‍♂‍ Julian has been our outsourced Energy Assessor for 13 years and is responsible for the completion of our EPCs and floor plans. We asked him a few questions to get to know him better…

1.    What’s your role at Oakwood Homes? 
EPCs, Photos, Floorplans, Boards and anything else required.

2.    How long have you been working here?
13 years in May 2020.

3.    What’s your favourite band?
Smokie.

4.    Do you have any hobbies?
I’ve started swimming (as I did not swim when younger) and I make models occasionally.

5.    What do you love best about your local area?
It’s just a lovely area!

6.    Favourite cocktail and/or local bar/pub to enjoy it in!
Don’t go out much, but I enjoy a red wine (Malbec) or Spitfire ale.

7.    What does a day in your life look like working for Oakwood Homes?
Going to appointments, meet the clients, carry out EPC, photos, floorplans as required, back to office or home, try to book appointments with clients, complete EPCs, edit photos, prepare floorplans, enter all into databases, compile files with all data / evidence for QA purposes which need to be kept for 15 years. Prepare my board list / route from board request sent.

8.    Favourite type of home? (period/new build/apartment/cottage)
Older properties which character.

9.    Favourite place to holiday?
Tenerife, Florida (Disney Land) and we went on first cruise in 2019 which was lovely!


10. What phone do you have? (iOS v Android?)
Much prefer iOS.
